Regional Finance Hub Lead – Costa Rica & Brazil

About the role

The Capability Cluster Lead for the Regional Finance Hub will oversee a high‑performing finance organization of roughly 200 professionals across Costa Rica and Brazil. This senior position reports to the GBS Finance leadership team and is responsible for driving culture, talent development, and operational excellence throughout the Americas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a finance organization of ~200 staff, fostering a One‑Team culture across locations, languages and cultures.
• Coach leaders, experts and future talent while ensuring strong employee engagement and retention.
• Establish trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including CFOs and business leaders across the United States, Brazil, North Latin America and Cono Sur.
• Represent GBS Finance in governance and leadership forums and act as a strategic business partner.
• Ensure reliable, efficient delivery of Accounting, Tax and Controlling services, continuously improving processes and leveraging automation, analytics and digital technologies.
• Drive standardisation and collaboration between local finance organisations, service delivery teams and capability experts through the Country Squad operating model.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of GBS Finance and support the evolution of the finance function toward a more digital, agile and business‑focused organisation.

Required profile

• Proven people‑leadership experience managing large, diverse finance teams through change and transformation.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and influencing skills in a complex, international environment.
• Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution capability.
• Solid background in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Tax or Shared Services.
• Experience driving operational excellence, process standardisation and digital transformation initiatives.
