Billing Supervisor

About the role
The Billing Supervisor leads the billing team, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing while supporting professional development and handling complex billing issues.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and guide the Billing team, set priorities and direct daily activities.
- Monitor performance, coach staff, and manage escalation paths for high‑risk billing matters.
- Oversee invoicing accuracy, reconcile billing accounts to the general ledger, and resolve discrepancies.
- Partner with Commercial, Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, and client purchasing departments to address disputes and align billing processes with financial reporting.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred).
- At least five years of billing experience, including supervisory experience.
- Strong customer service, cross‑functional collaboration, and detail‑oriented mindset.
- Fluent C1 English and ability to work onsite in Costa Rica.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with electronic billing systems.
