R2R Senior Manager

About the role

The R2R Senior Manager leads the end‑to‑end Record‑to‑Report close function, overseeing corporate accounting, cost accounting, treasury and financial reporting. The role is office‑based in Costa Rica and focuses on delivering high‑quality financial results while managing a team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the R2R team, set priorities and monitor performance against SLA targets.
• Manage period‑end close activities, including reconciliations, accruals, operational reporting and quality control.
• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closes in line with the global calendar.
• Ensure balance‑sheet reconciliations comply with internal control frameworks.
• Collaborate with local market teams and third‑party providers for timely financial reporting.
• Identify material financial risks, support risk mitigation plans and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Record‑to‑Report, corporate accounting or managerial accounting.
• Proven experience leading and coaching teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluent English (C1) with strong conversational ability.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
