QA/Validation Engineer – OMS/EMS for Capital Markets

About the role

We are looking for a skilled QA/Validation Engineer to support end‑to‑end validation of Order Management System (OMS) and Execution Management System (EMS) migration and transformation initiatives within a program trading environment. This role focuses on trading workflow validation, data accuracy, allocations, netting, and front‑to‑back system behavior rather than traditional UI testing.

Key responsibilities

• Validate complete OMS/EMS trading workflows across the trade lifecycle.
• Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Perform trade data validation, reconciliation, and FIX messaging verification.
• Validate allocations, netting, booking, and execution processes.
• Support migration and platform transformation testing activities.
• Collaborate with Business, Development, and Trading teams to analyse issues and drive resolution.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Capital Markets, preferably Equities.
• Deep understanding of program trading workflows and trade lifecycle.
• Hands‑on experience testing and validating OMS/EMS platforms.
• Proven ability to work with SQL for data validation and to troubleshoot FIX protocol messages.
• Experience in SIT, UAT, and regression testing within an Agile/Scrum environment.
