Proposal Manager

About the role

The Proposal Manager supports TransUnion’s sales growth by leading the development of accurate, compelling, and compliant responses to customer requests such as RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and vendor forms. This remote position collaborates with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality proposals on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and vendor forms from intake through final submission.
• Develop clear, persuasive, and compliant proposal content aligned with sales and revenue goals.
• Build project plans, response schedules, and coordinate cross‑functional teams including Sales, Legal, Privacy, and Marketing.
• Monitor milestones, risks, and dependencies, implementing corrective actions to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Maintain and improve reusable proposal content, knowledge repositories, and governance practices.

Required profile

• At least three years of experience in proposal management, sales operations, or a related discipline.
• Strong business writing, editing, proofreading, and document‑management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Business, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proven project‑management, interpersonal, and team‑leadership capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Word styling/formatting.
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro for document management.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and Salesforce.
• Knowledge of proposal automation/content‑management platforms such as Responsive, Qvidian, or Loopio.
• Experience with corporate procurement portals like Ariba or Scout.
• Use of AI‑assisted writing and content‑development tools.
