Professional Services Team Lead

About the role

Lead the Professional Services team in Costa Rica, delivering fast, high‑quality expert research projects for U.S. private equity, investment funds, consultancies and corporates. Own client relationships, drive account growth and develop your team to exceed performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle – kickoff, scoping, planning, sourcing experts, client feedback and delivery.
• Ensure rapid expert outreach and screening, meeting SLAs and KPIs while flagging risks early.
• Build and coach a high‑performing team, set ambitious goals, track performance data and address underperformance.
• Develop client partnerships, increase active users, win new projects and reactivate dormant accounts.
• Leverage AI and modern tools to improve delivery, create repeatable best practices and feed insights to product teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading small teams and coaching associates, with a track record of exceeding objectives.
• Solid project‑management background in research, consulting or client‑services for U.S. customers.
• Experience in sales, marketing or business development with U.S. clients and a commercial instinct.
• Strong communication skills, able to handle escalations and difficult conversations professionally.
