Project Quality Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Project Quality Technician to join our client’s manufacturing team in Costa Rica. The role focuses on inspecting raw materials and components to ensure they meet all applicable drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, functional and laboratory inspections of incoming raw materials using hand tools, measurement and test equipment.
• Interpret inspection procedures, drawings and specifications to determine inspection methods and characteristics.
• Record inspection results in the electronic system and generate accurate inspection reports.
• Handle rejected or non‑conforming materials according to established procedures.
• Conduct first‑piece, first‑batch and special engineering material inspections.
• Support training of new personnel on inspection procedures.
• Carry out basic preventive maintenance tasks such as equipment cleaning.
• Identify procedural misalignments and suggest improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience as a technician or in a similar inspection function.
• Technical degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of computational packages.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Experience using measurement and test equipment.
• Ability to operate electronic inspection systems.
• Basic preventive maintenance skills.
