Project Engineer – Medical Device Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer to provide advanced engineering expertise within a medical device manufacturing environment. The role will act as a technical lead for developing, implementing, and improving production systems, collaborating closely with R&D on product introductions from concept to launch.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate and coordinate project activities across multiple functional groups.
• Specify, procure, install, and debug production machinery and processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, ergonomic, and validation requirements.
• Lead plant initiatives for product launches and continuous improvement.
• Create, modify, and approve production procedures within the change‑control system.
• Design and execute experiments, test plans, and validation activities; collect and analyse data.
• Assist in selection and qualification of new materials and suppliers.
• Provide technical advice and leadership on advanced process‑development projects.
• Supervise engineers or technicians as assigned and support quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Follow EHS policies, conduct inspections, report incidents, and participate in root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical device manufacturing or a highly regulated industry.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage projects.
