Professional Services Consultant - Credit Data

About the role

The Professional Services Consultant is the link between Equifax's credit data technology and its customers such as banks, credit unions and mortgage companies. The role focuses on delivering credit data products and managing customer engagements, primarily for strategic market customers. It is a full-time position based in Sabana.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary consultant for customers running credit prescreens and account reviews.
• Turn customer business objectives and technical requirements into clear, executable project plans.
• Manage the end-to-end delivery cycle so projects are delivered on time and to quality standards.
• Provide subject matter expertise on credit risk assessment and data interpretation to internal teams and external customers.
• Analyze credit files (trade lines, payment history, public records, collections, inquiries) and explain credit scores and pre-coded attributes.
• Run post-delivery interpretation meetings so customers understand the results.
• Work with Sales, Product and Development teams to scope projects and support product enhancements.
• Use the internal CRM to track and log tasks, requests and issues, and work in an Agile environment.
• Mentor colleagues through shadowing, training collaboration and other support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2+ years in risk analysis, lending operations or credit underwriting.
• 2+ years in high-touch, client-facing consulting and project execution, including overtime and on-call support during critical deadlines and period-end closings.
• English at B2 level.

Required skills

• Understanding of Agile or project management principles.
• Proficiency in Jira or a similar project management/ticketing tool.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and data visualization software.
