FP&A Analyst

About the role

Equifax is setting up a new FP&A Center of Excellence in Costa Rica. As an FP&A Analyst you will support core financial planning activities through timely, accurate analysis and reporting, helping forecast, budgeting and operational performance in a global environment. The position is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out financial analysis and research to support decisions across global business units.
• Prepare reports supporting the annual budgeting process, including expense, service fee and staffing forecasts.
• Analyse operational performance to spot trends, variances and improvement opportunities.
• Work with cross-functional teams to consolidate data, improve reporting accuracy and keep financial data integrity.
• Drive ad-hoc financial projects and promote automation and improvement of reporting workflows.

Required profile

• Advanced university student or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management or a related quantitative field.
• 2 years of professional experience in financial analysis, corporate planning or accounting.
• English at B2 or C1 level.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modelling).
• Solid understanding of financial statements and corporate budgeting.
• Nice to have: Hyperion, SQL, Tableau or Power BI, and experience in a shared services, CoE or global support center.
