Production Supervisor – Shift B

About the role

The Production Supervisor oversees the leaders of each production line at the Coyol Free Zone facility. You will ensure smooth operations, train staff, and maintain quality standards while coordinating with other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Instruct and train new employees on company systems, procedures, measurement instruments and quality standards.
• Assist the Coordinator/Manager with daily scheduling, production rate communication, and material flow coordination.
• Maintain department supplies, conduct periodic audits of processes and equipment, and ensure compliance with production targets.
• Handle personnel issues, enforce disciplinary actions according to Costa Rican labor regulations, and recommend continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of supervisory experience.
• 3–5 years as a leader or assistant production supervisor, preferably with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma exposure.
• English proficiency at B1/B2 level.
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday 3:30 pm‑10:00 pm and Saturday 6:00 am‑3:00 pm.

Required skills

• Lean manufacturing tools (Kaizen events, value‑stream mapping, one‑piece flow, line balancing, OEE).
• Six Sigma basics.
• Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
