Product Support Engineer

About the role

Teradyne’s Product Support Engineering team seeks a technically driven engineer to support current and future semiconductor test products. The role ensures field readiness for new launches, enhances serviceability, and provides high‑quality support, documentation, and training worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Act as subject‑matter expert for new and existing semiconductor test platforms.
• Partner with Product Development and NPI teams to influence design and ensure successful field deployment.
• Develop and deliver technical training to field service engineers globally.
• Provide timely, accurate technical support to address customer issues.
• Create and maintain service documentation for installations, preventive maintenance, and support processes.
• Analyze system trends and recommend improvements for reliability and serviceability.
• Travel worldwide as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on team player capable of independent work.

Required skills

• Technical expertise in Power, Embedded systems, and Networking.
• Experience with Design for Serviceability and Reliability.
• Proficiency with computer tools for documentation and training.
