Production Director – Manufacturing Leadership

About the role

The Production Director will define and execute the manufacturing strategy, aligning it with corporate objectives to ensure operational capability, competitiveness, and sustainable growth. This senior leader will drive a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement across the production organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual manufacturing budget (OPEX, CAPEX, labor, consumables) to maximize ROI.
• Lead the production, packaging, and support operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, World Class Manufacturing, and Digital Manufacturing initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, and global quality standards.
• Oversee short‑, mid‑, and long‑term production planning aligned with demand forecasts.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (desired) or university degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of industry experience, with at least 10 years in supervisory/leadership roles.
• Proven ability to lead high‑performing teams, develop talent, and foster a safety‑first culture.
• Advanced proficiency in Spanish and English.
