Physics QA Lead (Remote)

About the role

In this remote, hourly contract you will lead physics quality assurance for AI training projects. You will ensure that AI‑generated physics content meets scientific accuracy and project guidelines, providing clear feedback to trainers and contributors.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated physics material and trainer/QA work against detailed rubrics.
• Assess scientific correctness, unit consistency, formula usage, conceptual clarity, and formatting.
• Identify recurring quality issues and communicate updates to the team.
• Support onboarding of new contributors and maintain documentation of standards.
• Monitor contributor activity and reactivate inconsistent participants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering Physics, Astrophysics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in physics research, teaching, tutoring, laboratory work, scientific writing or related workflows.
• Strong command of English for guideline interpretation and feedback.
• Proven ability to evaluate technical content against rubrics and spot errors in assumptions, calculations, units, and reasoning.
