Performance Video Editor

About the role

Uproot Clean, a fast‑growing eco‑friendly pet care brand, is looking for a Performance Video Editor to create high‑converting short‑form ads for Meta, Instagram and TikTok. The role is fully remote and part of a scaling marketing team.

Key responsibilities

• Transform scripts and creator footage into short‑form video ads that capture attention and drive purchases.
• Produce Facebook/Instagram ad creatives and social media clips optimized for each platform’s format.
• Source, organize and edit B‑roll and stock footage using existing subscriptions.
• Manage creator assets in Frame.io and maintain a well‑structured asset library.
• Apply performance‑focused editing techniques such as strong hooks, pacing, re‑hooks and motion graphics.
• Design thumbnails, marketing images and social graphics in Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva.
• Track project status in ClickUp, follow naming conventions and communicate timeline updates.
• Suggest workflow improvements and collaborate with the creative team.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of video editing experience, primarily short‑form content.
• Proven track record creating direct‑response ads for ecommerce or DTC brands.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self‑managed, able to meet daily/weekly deadlines and flag issues early.
• Comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a fast‑paced environment.
