Paralegal – M&A Due Diligence & Closing Coordinator (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

You will serve as the operational backbone of a boutique U.S. M&A law firm, handling due‑diligence review and closing coordination for buy‑side transactions. Working remotely from Latin America, you will support attorneys from document analysis through deal close.

Key responsibilities

• Review contracts, insurance policies, employee handbooks, leases, deeds, loan documents and settlement agreements.
• Identify and flag potential risks, summarising findings for attorneys.
• Organise and maintain disclosure schedules and closing checklists.
• Coordinate document collection, signature pages and follow‑ups with all parties.
• Manage virtual data rooms and keep deal files orderly.
• Work extensively with Adobe PDF tools, Microsoft Word and Google Docs.

Required profile

• Paralegal background (law degree optional).
• Experience in real‑estate closings or transactional coordination.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Highly detail‑oriented and able to juggle multiple deals.
• Independent contractor with own computer, stable internet and a quiet workspace.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe PDF tools.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word.
• Competence in Google Docs.
• Familiarity with virtual data rooms (a plus).
