Order to Cash North America Analyst

About the role

This position is an Order to Cash (O2C) analyst covering North America, based in Costa Rica. You will handle customer inquiries, process accounts receivable, support collections and work with country and regional teams to meet performance targets and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer inquiries by phone, email and shared inboxes with clear, polite communication.
• Process accounts receivable tasks in systems so that invoices and payments are recorded correctly.
• Analyze overdue accounts and support collections activities to reduce outstanding balances.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues and escalate when needed.
• Reconcile customer accounts and identify discrepancies; follow SOPs for cash application and collections.
• Keep accurate records of interactions and actions taken in the system.
• Prepare routine reports and share insights that support decisions on receivables.
• Work with country and regional teams to support local requirements and help improve processes through continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections or O2C processes.
• Ability to work on-site in Costa Rica and maintain consistent schedules.
• Clear verbal and written communication in English at B2 level or higher.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP or financial systems such as SAP for receivables and cash application.
• Strong Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
• Preferred: experience handling collections for North American markets, knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation, familiarity with phone and email ticketing, additional regional languages, and experience in process improvement or automation projects.
