Operations Manager

About the role

WPP Enterprise Solutions (MAP) is looking for an Operations Manager for its San José office, a permanent, full-time hybrid position (2-3 days on site per week) based at the Avenida Escazu offices. The role keeps daily operations and client service delivery running smoothly, develops staff and services, and takes part in strategic actions and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the team's daily operations and workload distribution, and manage quality control processes and KPIs
• Review resource allocation and team member capacities, and support the Local, Regional and Global Operations Directors with local initiatives
• Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements such as quality assurance and time to market
• Review client feedback and needs, and report monthly on progress and development to clients and internal stakeholders
• Provide insight into project progression, forecasting and budgeting, and client development opportunities
• Lead people management: take part in recruitment, conduct interviews and onboarding, review PTO requests, assess team gaps and encourage continuous skill development and training
• Communicate with cross-functional teams and assess performance

Required profile

• 3-5 years of proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• 3-5 years of experience in people and performance management, resourcing and recruitment
• Experience in digital production or marketing, commercialization of services or process optimization
• Proven project management skills and strong collaboration with stakeholders
• Excellent English communication is a must
