Operations Excellence Engineer I

About the role
The Operations Excellence Engineer I supports tactical planning and capacity optimization for a manufacturing plant. You will work on projects that improve resource efficiency, material flow, and overall production performance while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Measure, evaluate and improve line capacity and production standards.
- Develop and maintain capacity models to record and analyse plant data.
- Implement improvement projects that increase floor efficiency, remove non‑value‑added tasks and grow line capacity.
- Support automation and optimisation of facility‑wide efficiency management systems.
- Promote compliance with GMP, GDP, EHS and other regulatory requirements.
- Generate operational reports and assist with short‑ and medium‑term capacity planning.
Required profile
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.
- Commitment to safety, quality and regulatory excellence.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
