NodeJS Backend Software Developer

About the role

UST is looking for a NodeJS Backend Software Developer to join its digital transformation team. You will help design, build, and maintain high‑performance back‑end services that power our clients' innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain back‑end services and RESTful APIs using Node.js.
• Design and implement microservices‑based solutions.
• Collaborate with architecture, QA, and business teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, task estimation, and code reviews.
• Ensure code quality through best practices, version control, and static analysis tools.
• Contribute to technical documentation and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency with Node.js (Express.js or Fastify), RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, SQL Server, and Git.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, SonarQube, and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Basic knowledge of API security (JWT, OAuth 2.0) and technical documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI).
