Molding Process Technician 1

About the role

Philips is seeking a Molding Process Technician 1 to operate thermoplastic and LSR injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. You will help keep production lines running smoothly while supporting product and process improvements in a health‑technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform start‑up activities and operate injection molding machines, molds, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot molding equipment and processes to maintain uninterrupted production and meet work‑order deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineers or Managers with product and process improvement projects.
• Train and support fellow technicians and identify root causes of part defects.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience as a molding technician.
• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing setting.
• Desirable experience in medical‑device or health‑technology companies.
• Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.

Required skills

• Operation of thermoplastic injection molding machines.
• Operation of LSR (liquid silicone rubber) injection molding machines.
• Mold setup and adjustment.
• Basic troubleshooting of molding equipment.
• Microsoft Word.
• Microsoft Excel.
