Mold SetUp Technician – Night Shift

About the role

We are looking for a Mold SetUp Technician to operate and set up thermoplastic and LSR injection molding machines on a night‑shift schedule. You will ensure smooth production by performing set‑up, start‑up, and basic troubleshooting while maintaining high product quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up molds and start up thermoplastic and LSR injection molding machines.
• Perform basic troubleshooting to keep production running smoothly.
• Operate molding equipment and auxiliary systems, applying knowledge of plastic and silicone transformation processes.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on molds, including complex repairs and tool‑room support tasks.
• Troubleshoot product defects, manage material changes, verify proper material drying and prevent material shortages.
• Maintain compliance with EHS standards, 6S housekeeping, and coordinate shift activities.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Primary education required; high school diploma preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Mold Setup technician.
• Plastic process certification or equivalent technical training is highly valued.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Experience in a tool shop or manufacturing environment.
