About the role

The Medical Liaison will serve as the primary scientific contact for healthcare professionals in Costa Rica, fostering dialogue on disease knowledge, emerging therapies, and clinical practice. This role supports the company's portfolio by enhancing medical education and facilitating collaborations with key opinion leaders and patient associations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain scientific relationships with clinicians, opinion leaders, professional societies, and patient groups.
• Increase physician awareness of disease states and therapeutic options within the portfolio.
• Provide and analyze emerging scientific information relevant to therapeutic areas.
• Identify trends, new resources, and therapeutic practices to inform strategy.
• Support the development and execution of medical education events in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Transfer up‑to‑date scientific knowledge to commercial, access, and marketing teams.
• Contribute to technical‑scientific projects with researchers and professional associations to generate supporting evidence.
• Monitor diagnostic test outcomes to improve case identification.

Required profile

• Strong background in medical or scientific fields with excellent communication skills.

• Understanding of compliance, regulatory standards, and ethical medical communication.
