Medical Auditor – Remote Pediatric Hospitalist

About the role

This contract position involves reviewing pediatric inpatient medical records to support AI training and improve data quality. The work is fully remote with flexible weekly hours.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records, including FHIR data and clinical notes, for AI training purposes.
• Verify that clinical information and claims are supported by the medical record.
• Assess inpatient pediatric documentation such as HPI, PMH, birth and developmental history, immunization status, assessments, and plans.
• Identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information, including weight‑based dosing and age‑appropriate details.
• Provide feedback to enhance AI models and overall data quality.
• Communicate findings clearly with the project team.

Required profile

• MD or DO, board certified in Pediatrics (or Pediatric Hospital Medicine subspecialty).
• Strong experience with inpatient documentation and hospital workflows.
• Comfortable reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data.
• Experience in chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, or medical coding/QA is a plus.
