Material Planning Analyst

About the role

Genpact is seeking a Material Planning Analyst to support its materials planning function. The analyst will work with ERP and supplier collaboration systems to ensure accurate forecast‑to‑schedule data and maintain smooth procurement operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide transaction support for accurate forecast‑to‑schedule data.
• Manage purchase order acknowledgements, updates, cancellations, and master data maintenance.
• Support the Sample Center with material activation, order changes, and scrap notifications.
• Resolve Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) errors, Non‑Conformance Reports (NCR) and Non‑Conformity Material Reports (NMR).
• Convert Business Planning and Control System (BPCS) purchase requisitions to purchase orders.
• Conduct Minimum Order Quantity / Delivery Units audits.
• Assist with Supply Network Collaboration, demand, product, and allocation processes.
• Support user access controls for the Parameter Optimizer (PARMO) tool.
• Follow up with vendors on non‑conforming material and monitor supplier performance.
• Gather and analyze data for the Global Project System (GPS) and track price change impacts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, operations or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in materials planning, procurement operations, inventory management, material master data, or supply chain support.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using Business Planning and Control System (BPCS).
• Knowledge of Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) processing.
• Familiarity with Parameter Optimizer (PARMO) tool.
• Ability to maintain material master data and vendor calendars.
