Manufacturing Director

About the role

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a Manufacturing Director to lead an integrated, high‑performing manufacturing unit. The role focuses on safety, quality, regulatory compliance, cost efficiency and continuous improvement while supporting the company’s global mission to enhance patient mobility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a local manufacturing strategy aligned with global operations and growth plans.
• Oversee all manufacturing and engineering activities, managing production supervisors, engineers, clerks and hourly staff.
• Lead transformation programs covering processes, people, footprint and technology.
• Champion environmental, health, safety and sustainability initiatives on site.
• Ensure full compliance with the Zimmer Biomet Quality System and regulatory requirements.
• Drive business opportunities through innovative manufacturing technologies.
• Redesign manufacturing systems to achieve performance gains while meeting current and future regulations.
• Partner with senior operations leadership and act as liaison to other corporate functions.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Strong track record of delivering results across Quality, Cost, Delivery and People (QCDP).
• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance and quality systems in the medical‑technology sector.
• Ability to manage large, cross‑functional teams and drive continuous improvement.
