Maintenance Technician III

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to join its Electrophysiology (EP) business. Reporting to the Maintenance Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for executing corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance on critical equipment while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operations, attend shift meetings and communicate shift events.
• Perform corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Manage spare parts inventory, equipment installation and support cross‑functional projects, validations and other disciplines.
• Follow all safety, quality and cost‑effectiveness procedures and protocols.
• Interact with internal and external clients to meet maintenance scope and customer needs.
• Generate formal reports and documentation as required.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects to enhance key performance indicators.

Required profile

• High School degree or technical diploma in electronics, electrical, electromechanical or mechanical fields.
• 5‑7 years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Intermediate command of English.
• Experience in regulated environments (ISO 13485, FDA, GMP) is preferred.
• Availability for a Monday‑Friday shift (6:00 am – 3:30 pm) on‑site.
