Maintenance Technician I

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join its Electrophysiology manufacturing team. The role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, supporting production lines, and contributing to continuous improvement in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operations and attend shift hand‑over meetings.
• Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Manage spare parts inventory and assist with equipment installation.
• Participate in projects, validations, and equipment lifecycle management.
• Follow all safety, quality, and cost‑effectiveness procedures.
• Collaborate with internal clients to meet maintenance and production needs.

Required profile

• Technical High School, Diploma or Technical degree (electronic, electrical, electromechanical, or mechanical focus).
• 0‑3 years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Basic proficiency in English.
• Willingness to work the specified shift schedule (Mon‑Fri 3:30 pm‑10:00 pm, Sat 8:00 am‑3:30 pm).

Required skills

• Knowledge of electronic, electrical, electromechanical, and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
