Maintenance Technician 2 – Shift A1

About the role

The Maintenance Technician 2 – Shift A1 is responsible for corrective, breakdown and preventive maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal production performance in a medical‑device environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform 1st line (curative) repairs on assigned machines, addressing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, electrical or PLC issues.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks and support product and process renewal.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety standards.
• Create and improve maintenance documentation.
• Direct and coordinate contractor activities.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineer or Manager with day‑to‑day tasks.
• Troubleshoot technical problems to determine root causes.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical studies in maintenance, electromechanics, electronics or related fields preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a medical‑device setting.
• Basic to intermediate English proficiency.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, QSR, ISO 13485 and Japan regulations is desirable.
