Litigation Attorney – Personal Injury

About the role

The client is a New York‑based personal injury law firm that handles high‑volume litigation on behalf of injured individuals. The firm is looking for a licensed attorney to join its team and manage personal injury cases from initial evaluation through trial preparation, working in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze case files, assess liability, damages, insurance coverage, and venue considerations.
• Develop and refine litigation strategy, identifying risks and evidentiary gaps.
• Draft, review, and finalize complaints, summonses, motions, discovery responses, and other court documents using firm templates and AI‑generated drafts.
• Manage discovery processes, including document production, interrogatories, and depositions.
• Prepare cases for trial, coordinating with senior counsel and support staff to ensure timely progression.

Required profile

• Licensed attorney with 1‑5 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury.
• Strong analytical abilities and a litigation‑first mindset.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle a substantial caseload independently.

What we offer

• Competitive hourly rates: $10‑$15/hr for junior (1‑3 years) and $15‑$22/hr for mid‑level (3‑5 years).
• Full‑time schedule, Monday‑Friday, 8 AM‑4 PM EST.
