About the role

The Production Leader MPVS TB is responsible for managing the manufacturing line of medical devices at CooperSurgical. The role ensures that raw material is available, production flow follows defined parameters, and all work orders are processed accurately while maintaining compliance with GMP and ISO‑FDA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that all raw material required for each work order is present.
• Manage the expected production flow, including parameters, machinery, personnel, materials, and documentation.
• Ensure correct processing of work orders for the assigned production lines.
• Report production targets, complete required forms, and update daily production entries.
• Perform DHR closures when appropriate and maintain accurate documentation (legibility, traceability, validity).
• Communicate production progress and quality issues to the production supervisor.
• Identify equipment problems, report to technicians, and ensure equipment calibration.
• Track personnel training and certifications.
• Support weekly planning, calculate line capacity, and assist in Tier 0‑2 huddles.
• Maintain effective communication with technicians, quality inspectors, and other shift leaders.
• Uphold Good Manufacturing Practices on the assigned line.
• Conduct raw‑material cycle counts when required.
• Ensure occupational health and safety standards are met.
• Keep the Performance Board up‑to‑date and maintain order, cleanliness, and discipline.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Required profile

• High‑school diploma (Bachiller en educación media).
• At least 1 year of experience in the medical device industry, preferably in a clean production environment.
• Technical background in production or quality is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of ISO‑FDA audits, GDP, and GMP.
• Basic English (A1) and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
