About the role

SEIMAQ Servicios Integrados S.A. is seeking a strong leader with technical expertise and a customer‑focused mindset to head its technical service and operations department. The role oversees the entire technical team, maintenance planning, workshop activities, and spare‑parts management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, organize, and develop the maintenance technicians team.
• Supervise preventive, corrective, and major repair activities.
• Provide technical support for complex fault diagnosis and resolution.
• Ensure technicians have the necessary tools, information, and spare parts before each intervention.
• Control response times, repair times, and equipment downtime.
• Coordinate control towers and track each service request to closure.
• Maintain rapid, professional communication with clients and handle escalations.
• Oversee workshop organization, productivity, and inventory of spare parts and consumables.
• Set minimum and maximum inventory levels and anticipate supply needs.
• Design, monitor, and present area KPIs; standardize processes and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Electromechanical, Mechanical, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or related technical field.
• Proven experience leading technical teams in preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Knowledge of mechanics, electricity, electronics, and electromechanical systems.
• Experience managing workshops, maintenance operations, and technical service.
• Familiarity with performance indicators, inventory planning, and customer‑service handling.
• Preferred experience with forklifts, industrial machinery, material‑handling equipment, heavy or automotive machinery.
