Laboratory Calibration & Repair Technician

About the role

The Laboratory Calibration & Repair Technician ensures that test and measurement equipment used in our global manufacturing automation labs operates accurately and reliably. You will support operational readiness, maintain compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of calibration and repair processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform calibration, troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, functional testing, and post‑repair verification of electronic test equipment.
• Maintain precise service, repair, and calibration records and keep the equipment database up to date.
• Segregate non‑conforming equipment and escalate complex technical issues to the Calibration Engineer.
• Provide feedback for process improvements and collaborate with engineering and laboratory teams.
• Follow ESD controls, laboratory safety procedures, and deviation‑prevention practices.

Required profile

• Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Instrumentation, Metrology, or a related field; or currently pursuing an engineering degree.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• At least 3 years of experience performing calibration, troubleshooting, repair, or maintenance of electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical procedures, schematics, and calibration standards.
