Junior Continuous Improvement Engineer

About the role

The Junior Continuous Improvement Engineer supports improvement initiatives in production and administrative processes at Coloplast’s Cartago site, applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques in a regulated medical‑device environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support Value Stream Manager and Continuous Improvement team using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
• Assist in initiating, implementing, and following up on continuous improvement projects.
• Participate in 6S initiatives, Kaizen events, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Help standardize processes, create metrics, and track operational targets.
• Contribute to layout design improvements and identify system inefficiencies.
• Support creation of training materials and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, materials, electromechanical engineering, business administration or related field.
• 0–2 years of manufacturing or continuous‑improvement experience (including internships).
• English level at least B1.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
