About the role
The Junior Continuous Improvement Engineer supports improvement initiatives in production and administrative processes at Coloplast’s Cartago site, applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques in a regulated medical‑device environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support Value Stream Manager and Continuous Improvement team using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
- Assist in initiating, implementing, and following up on continuous improvement projects.
- Participate in 6S initiatives, Kaizen events, and Value Stream Mapping.
- Help standardize processes, create metrics, and track operational targets.
- Contribute to layout design improvements and identify system inefficiencies.
- Support creation of training materials and documentation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, materials, electromechanical engineering, business administration or related field.
- 0–2 years of manufacturing or continuous‑improvement experience (including internships).
- English level at least B1.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
