Junior Buyer – Global Project Procurement

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Junior Buyer to join our Global Project Procurement team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop a career in supply chain while handling purchase orders, supplier relationships, and supporting ESG initiatives across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Issue and manage purchase orders (POs) to NI suppliers, converting requisitions and tracking them to closure.
• Confirm delivery dates, update systems, and follow up on purchasing cases within SLA.
• Resolve receiving and billing inconsistencies in collaboration with accounts payable.
• Execute supplier onboarding and maintain supplier relationships in line with sourcing managers.
• Provide performance input to sourcing managers and address procurement quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and P2P policy.
• Escalate critical issues such as shortages, cancellations, and delays.
• Identify and manage procurement risks, supporting forecasting activities.
• Participate in ESG initiatives and promote sustainable sourcing.
• Track and report procurement KPIs and contribute to continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Commerce or related field (minimum 90% completed or finished).
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong ability to prioritize, multitask and work in a matrix/global environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with global teams and internal stakeholders.
