Junior Business Analyst – Remote (Costa Rica)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst to support EDI and system integration projects for our clients. The position is fully remote and based in Costa Rica, offering an opportunity to work with senior analysts and cross‑functional teams on enterprise‑level integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Support configuration and validation of EDI communication protocols such as SFTP, AS2 and FTPS.
• Assist senior analysts in gathering, documenting and validating business and technical requirements and functional specifications.
• Participate in integration testing, validate transaction flows, review data formats and help with data‑mapping activities.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, business stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth enterprise integrations and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related technical field.
• Basic understanding of structured and semi‑structured data formats (XML, JSON, CSV).
• Familiarity with SQL, basic scripting and UNIX/Linux fundamentals.
• Interest in EDI, enterprise integrations and technical business analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and excellent written and verbal English communication.
