About the role
Coforge is looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to design, build and maintain scalable backend services. The role is fully remote and serves teams across Costa Rica, Peru, Colombia and Bolivia.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, C# and the .NET framework.
- Implement and manage databases, especially MongoDB and other NoSQL solutions, supporting ETL processes and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design and deliver new features while communicating technical and business requirements.
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues and apply test‑driven development practices to ensure high‑quality code.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, particularly Node.js.
- Hands‑on experience with C# and the .NET framework.
- Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
