Jira / Atlassian Administrator (Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Atlassian/Jira Administrator to lead multiple Jira migrations, support an M&A integration project, and provide ongoing IT support for an enterprise client in the construction technology sector.

Key responsibilities

• Execute three migrations into the client’s Enterprise Jira Cloud environment, including discovery, sandbox testing, production cutover, and post‑migration stabilization.
• Build a restricted, company‑managed Jira project for acquisition integration, configuring workflows, custom fields, issue types, permissions, dashboards and a reusable template.
• Handle Jira administration tickets such as access requests, permission changes, workflow updates and automation fixes, and provide general IT service desk support via Jira Service Management.

Required profile

• Proven experience administering both Jira Cloud and Jira Server/Data Center.
• Hands‑on experience with Server‑to‑Cloud and Cloud‑to‑Cloud migrations, including large issue volumes and attachments.
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting and communication skills, able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
