About the role

The Head of Logistics and Distribution for Retail will lead the operations of the Distribution Center (CEDI) and ensure efficient supply to the entire store network. This role requires a deep understanding of retail dynamics, where product availability, inventory turnover, and service levels directly impact commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate merchandise supply to the CEDI and retail outlets.
• Lead the full CEDI operation: receiving, storage, order picking, and dispatch.
• Manage replenishment and distribution processes to stores, guaranteeing product availability and service level compliance.
• Administer inventory accuracy, rotation, discrepancies, and optimal stock levels.
• Coordinate transportation, routing, and deliveries to various points of sale.
• Monitor performance indicators such as inventory accuracy, service level, delivery compliance, productivity, and logistics costs.
• Anticipate operational needs linked to promotions, seasons, and demand variations.
• Identify improvement opportunities in CEDI, distribution, inventory, and transport.
• Lead and develop the logistics and distribution team.
• Maintain continuous coordination with Purchasing, Commercial, and Store Operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading logistics, distribution, or supply chain functions.
• Proven experience in retail companies, store chains, or multi‑location businesses.
• Hands‑on experience managing Distribution Centers and supplying stores or branches.
• Strong analytical ability, leadership skills, and a holistic view of retail operations.

Required skills

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics.
