IT Project Manager – CTO Operating Partner

About the role

The IT Project Manager acts as the operating partner to the CTO, owning the rhythm of the Technology organization. You will track initiatives across IT, Security and Product, run the operating cadence and free the CTO to focus on strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a single source of truth for all technology initiatives, including owners, dates, status, risks and decisions.
• Run the operating cadence: prepare meeting agendas, track action items, manage vendor contracts, salary caps and budgets, and prepare executive reports.
• Take operational work off the CTO’s plate such as vendor coordination, procurement follow‑ups, hiring logistics and cross‑department requests.
• Drive follow‑through by chasing commitments, surfacing blockers early, escalating with recommendations and closing the loop with stakeholders.
• Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimise business processes.

Required profile

• 3+ years in project/program management, chief of staff or technology operations supporting a senior technology leader.
• Proven ability to run multi‑workstream programs in a work‑management tool.
• Strong written English, capable of turning messy updates into executive‑ready reports.
• Comfort with budgets, vendor contracts, renewals and procurement workflows.
• Advanced spoken and written English (C1+) and availability during US business hours.

Required skills

• Project/program management tools (e.g., work‑management platforms).
• Modern agentic tools such as Grok Bot or Claude Cowork (nice to have).
• Technical literacy to track IT, security and software work.
• Budget and vendor contract management.
