IT Infrastructure Administrator

About the role

As an IT Infrastructure Administrator you will maintain and enhance the critical infrastructure that supports 24/7 terminal operations. You will work with server, virtualization, storage, cloud and network environments to ensure high availability, security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Administer physical and virtual server environments, storage infrastructure and enterprise networks.
• Manage and optimise VMware vSphere clusters, hosts and resources.
• Own server patching and vulnerability management cycles.
• Support hybrid cloud environments on Azure and AWS.
• Monitor performance, capacity, availability and security, and proactively resolve issues.
• Manage backup and disaster‑recovery solutions and conduct regular testing.
• Troubleshoot complex server, networking, storage, virtualization and Active Directory problems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of hands‑on infrastructure administration in enterprise or 24/7 environments.
• Strong continuous‑improvement mindset and ability to work with IT, Operations, OT and Cyber‑Security teams.

Required skills

• VMware vSphere virtualization.
• Windows Server and Linux administration.
• LAN, WAN, WLAN, switching, routing, firewalls, DNS and DHCP.
• Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS) hybrid cloud platforms.
• Active Directory, server patching and vulnerability management.
• Backup, disaster‑recovery and storage technologies.
