About the role

Expeditors is seeking an International Transportation Specialist to coordinate global shipments across air, ocean, customs brokerage and ground transportation. The role involves ensuring timely freight movement, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting profitability while delivering high-quality service to customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate international shipments across air, ocean, customs brokerage and ground transportation.
• Monitor freight movement to ensure timely delivery and operational accuracy.
• Track shipments, proactively resolve transportation issues, and communicate updates to customers, carriers, suppliers and overseas offices.
• Manage documentation, compliance requirements and operational milestones.
• Support billing accuracy and assess shipment profitability.
• Identify and recommend improvements to service efficiency and customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain is a plus.
