Internal Communications Lead – Tax Communications

About the role

Deloitte’s Marketing, Brand & Communications team is looking for an Internal Communications Lead specializing in Tax Communications. You will craft compelling internal campaigns, partner with senior leaders, and translate complex ideas into clear, engaging messages for Deloitte professionals in Costa Rica.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate regular status meetings, identify risks, and mitigate project issues.
• Develop and execute internal communications strategies that align with business priorities.
• Drive engagement for high‑profile campaigns, ensuring leadership and professionals are informed and empowered.
• Collaborate with Tax Communications colleagues to define messaging and creative assets.
• Write, edit, and proofread a variety of campaign materials, including articles, web copy, leadership emails, scripts, and other internal collateral.
• Manage event logistics, prepare briefs and talking points for leadership.
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback while meeting tight deadlines and adhering to legal/risk guidelines.
• Analyze metrics to recommend optimal channels and messaging.

Required profile

• Proven ability to work in a matrixed environment and build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholders.
• Strong executive presence with experience presenting ideas and advising senior leaders on communications strategy.
• Demonstrated capacity to juggle multiple projects, meet competing deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements without close supervision.
• Polished interpersonal skills, comfortable leading conversations with senior leaders and intellectual thinkers.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
