Instock Manager – Books Vendor Operations

About the role
The Amazon Books Operations Team is seeking an analytical and proactive Instock Manager to support our books vendor ecosystem. In this role you will partner directly with strategic vendors, resolve inventory exceptions, and help improve their performance on Amazon.
Key responsibilities
- Root‑cause and resolve operational exceptions such as out‑of‑stock items, missing offers, and supply‑chain disruptions.
- Manage daily task volumes while meeting defined Service Level Agreements and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain reports focused on key operational performance indicators.
- Collaborate with vendors to drive timely issue resolution and improve supply‑chain efficiency.
Required profile
- 2+ years of experience in supply‑chain, inventory management, planning, procurement or related operations.
- Experience working with external suppliers or vendors.
- Strong analytical ability with experience using Excel, including Pivot Tables.
- Understanding of core instock metrics such as instock rate, lost sales and weeks of cover.
