About the role
We are seeking an Instock Manager to join Amazon’s Books Operations team. The role focuses on supporting strategic vendors, resolving inventory exceptions, and improving supply‑chain performance for the Books catalog.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and root‑cause out‑of‑stock situations, missing offers, and supply‑chain disruptions.
- Handle daily task volumes while meeting defined Service Level Agreements and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain reports on key operational performance indicators.
- Collaborate with vendors to drive timely issue resolution and enhance partnership experience.
Required profile
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management or project management.
- Experience working with external suppliers or vendors.
- Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables.
- Understanding of key instock metrics such as instock rate, lost sales and weeks of cover.
