Infrastructure Systems Engineer - Platform Engineering

About the role

TD SYNNEX is looking for a hands‑on Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and automate modern enterprise platforms. This engineering‑first position focuses on code‑driven delivery rather than ticket‑based operations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deploy VMware and/or Nutanix infrastructure for Windows and Linux environments.
• Develop Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python or Bash.
• Automate manual processes through scripting and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support the full infrastructure lifecycle: deployment, upgrades, scaling, and optimization.
• Contribute to Kubernetes/container environment setup and troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain runbooks, low‑level designs, and handoff documentation.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on infrastructure or systems engineering experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Proven experience building and deploying production infrastructure, not just supporting it.
• Ability to demonstrate automation work and code‑driven delivery.
