Human Resources Manager

About the role

Join Bridgestone Business Services as a Human Resources Manager to shape the people strategy and teammate experience for the Shared Services Center in Heredia, Costa Rica. You will act as the primary HR partner for a workforce of about 500 employees across Costa Rica, Latin America, and North America.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main HR partner to Shared Services leaders, translating business priorities into people and organizational strategies.
• Lead talent processes such as performance management, succession planning, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
• Provide counsel on complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with Costa Rican labor legislation.
• Oversee HR program delivery, compensation, benefits, mobility, and HR operations using Workday.
• Lead, coach, and develop a local HR team, establishing clear expectations and service standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• At least eight years of progressive HR experience, including HR leadership or Business Partner roles.
• Strong knowledge of Costa Rican employment laws and experience handling complex employee relations.
• Full professional fluency in English and Spanish.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into practical people solutions.
