HRIS Specialist - UKG

About the role

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. (BSAM) and Bridgestone Europe, Middle East and Africa (BSEMEA) operate together as the strategic region "Bridgestone West" and are looking for an HRIS Specialist in Heredia. The position covers the configuration, maintenance and reporting of the UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) system to support time and attendance functions, and provides operational and analytical support for time, attendance and payroll processes.

Key responsibilities

• Process employee information and maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records.
• Prepare, analyse and publish routine and ad hoc reports on time and attendance, pay grades, performance data, payroll information and other HR metrics.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity and consistency of HR data in the system, and use data analysis to give workforce insights to business stakeholders.
• Support and resolve moderately complex issues, contribute to projects and process improvements, and test and validate new system features and releases.
• Assist with implementing new locations in UKG Pro WFM and track, analyse and resolve production support inquiries.
• Streamline payroll audits so employees are paid accurately and on time, and prepare data analyses and reports for business decisions.
• Collaborate with the software vendor's support team and take part in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience supporting HR functions, specifically payroll, time and attendance or related processes.
• Experience or knowledge of UKG Workforce Management (WFM) is preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required skills

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, charts and spreadsheet analysis.
• Data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau are preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
