HR Generalist

About the role

This position supports the LATAM HR team by delivering proactive HR administration and coordination for employees in Costa Rica, Mexico, and Brazil. Working within a matrixed global environment, the role is hybrid, requiring at least three days per week on‑site at the Costa Rica office.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ethical, compliant HR advice aligned with company culture.
• Deliver a customer‑focused HR service covering employment terms, training, development, and compliance.
• Lead onboarding activities, including induction sessions, mentoring program administration, and new‑hire profile distribution.
• Assist the HR Director with year‑end performance management.
• Promote core values, monitor employee wellbeing, and support Great Place to Work initiatives.
• Maintain accurate manual and digital HR records and generate timely reports.
• Draft employment documents, conduct exit interviews, and analyse HR trends.
• Communicate monthly payroll new‑hire information and aid the People Service team’s transition to a centralized support function.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in an HR administrative role.
• Relevant degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Talent Management, or related field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build professional relationships quickly.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
• Enthusiastic, self‑motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
